This posting is for a potential future position and is not yet funded POSITION: Team Lead -- Background Investigations RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide first line supervision to a team of Case Reviewers. Monitor cases assigned to the team to ensure compliance with delivery due dates. Track case readiness to manage the review process and help focus staff on priority cases. Proactively help the team to prioritize and resolve noteworthy or derogatory information when developed in field work. Coach the team to ensure they are meeting expectations and take necessary actions to ensure all Case Reviewers are successful. Conduct second level review, provide and track feedback to the team. Complete 90 day and annual evaluations for team employees. Your role as a supervisor is to coach and teach. Provide feedback to field and post-field staff, as well as, to include training and mentoring of new team members. Provide counseling and disciplinary actions as needed. Maintain regular communications with team members to insure consistency Collaborate and communicate with the Project Management team and all other process stakeholders to make the process as efficient as possible. Timesheet approval to include leave management. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a current favorably adjudicated SSBI or active Secret Level Security Clearance based on a full field investigation (Tier 5). U.S. Citizenship H.S. Diploma or equivalent and a Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university Experience of two years or more in Case Review and has demonstrated performance and people skills Thorough understanding of Federal Investigative Standards and SEAD 4, Adjudicative Standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism. High computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), database software, e-mail, Internet, and IRMA. Analytical ability to evaluate information against policies and procedures and create a final report for our customers. Strong problem solving and diplomatic skills to deal with various people in the process to create standardization where limited guidance exists. Ability to work autonomously to fill a key supervisory, leadership and management function on the project. WHY CONSTELLIS?
