Summary/General Description Of Job:
Under the direction of the Systems Integration Manager the Training Specialist will help plan, implement, enhance, modify, and maintain the Training Syllabus and Individual Training Procedure for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and various business software solutions. The Training Specialist will analyze process, produce procedure documentation, and train user population on those procedures. In conjunction with the Systems Integration Manager they will plan analysis and track adherence to published procedures.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Supports users in understanding procedures and CMMS Interface.
Assists as Systems Administrator for business software solutions.
Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant software applications as assigned.
Works closely with project IT leads and business process teams, both internal and external, to ensure that technical and functional requirements are being met.
Interacts on sub-contractor activities associated with the business software solutions.
Coordinates tests of the system and participates in trial runs of new and revised systems and recommends computer equipment changes to obtain more effective operations.
Operates Government or WCFS-owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.
Performs various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) CSA II duties, file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Timely and cost effective performance of duties.
Harmoniously working with other WCFS employees and customers.
Working with the Systems Integration Manager to outline work to be done, after which incumbent is expected to work independently.
Working with the Project Principals to fully coordinate all activities.
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Two (2) years of maintaining Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Two (2) years resolving related customer issues.
Understands Material Attributes Specifications.
Understands basic mathematical functions.
Demonstrates initiative in addressing issues associated with meeting job responsibilities.
Familiarity at intermediate level with mathematical functions.
Extensive knowledge of all office equipment including but not limited to: telephones, copy machines, fax machines, printers, and computers.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, including but not limited to: Word, Power-Point, Excel, and Access programs.
Knowledge of other pertinent system software and of computer equipment and of the work processes, applicable regulations, workload, and practices of the assigned area.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent organizational skills.
Displays a professional demeanor in all working relationships with all levels of employees and customers
Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level clearance.
Valid state driver’s license.
Ability to work overtime, as needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Four (4) years of training resources on Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Experience with Maximo and/or database software.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in managing CMMS Application Modules.
Experience Maintaining Material Management Applications inclusive of PR, PO, Item Master, Inventory Balances, & Commodity Codes.
