We are looking to hire a Spa Supervisor to help oversee operations at our brand new spa opening May 2018. Live! Spa, part of the flagship Maryland Live! Hotel & Casino, is located in Hanover, MD.
The ideal candidate will be driven, entrepreneurial in spirit and highly familiar with the Baltimore area spa market. Experience opening new spa locations is preferred, but not required.

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for providing guests with comprehensive and professional conduct. Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and maintain a high level of customer service standards. Must have the ability to deal effectively with guests while maintaining the highest level of professionalism at all times. Scheduling, dependability, and flexibility are a must. Responsible for assisting Spa Manager with training, product inventory, payroll, scheduling, and financial reporting.
Provide guests with a thorough and knowledgeable understanding of spa services.
Maintain inventory levels by ensuring proper stock levels on retail and professional on hand and in rooms.
Conducts daily treatment room checklist inspection noting inconsistencies and accuracies working alongside the Spa Manager.
Responsible for the day-to-day spa operation duties to include opening and closing, cash handling procedures and general facility maintenance.
Assist Spa Manager in ensuring all monthly sales goals are being achieved.
Provide spa guests with a tour of spa facilities, when needed.
Anticipate guest s needs and adhere to Live! Spa and TRILOGY s standards for guest service, including FORBES 5 Star Standards.
Diffuse guest challenges and communicates guest problems or complaints to the Spa Manager on Duty in a timely fashion.
Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
Organize and distribute guest surveys.
Manage all Front Desk incentives.
Decisions of a broad nature are made in accordance with general policy and procedures.
Train and ensure all Front Desk Receptionists deliver exceptional service, offering corrective counseling, when needed.
Ensure Front Desk staff are monitored and informed of treatments, groups, and other promotions.
Ensure all protocols are adhered to.
Act as leader for service providers and work with Spa Manager to enforce service standards, SOP s, and conduct disciplinary actions, as needed.
Assist Spa Manager with service provider schedules, as needed.
Assist Spa Manager in ensuring that technician licenses are up to date and renewed, as needed.
Assist with scheduling and rotation of duties.
Must have at least 3 years of Supervisor experience.
Candidates must also be authorized to work in the US.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must have a flexible schedule, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be organized, timely and detailed-oriented.
Basic Computer software skills, Book4Time preferred.
