You’d like the opportunity to join a team that is just starting to build a people analytics function and have a consultative personality. Ellucian is currently looking to add Workforce Analytics Manager to partner with the business to raise awareness of our talent and growing workforce.

This position will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for the design, development, and continuous improvement of actionable metrics/dashboards/trend analysis that enable the business to make data-based decisions. S/he will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of workforce analytics solutions to integrate HR and relevant business data for managers and HR leadership. Over time, additional statistical information will be leveraged to move toward providing predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a people analytics framework to enable the business to make better informed decisions using people data

  • Partner with the People Team Centers of Excellence (HR Business Partners, Compensation, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development) to identify requirements for data collection

  • Using these requirements, develop and automate large data sets to identify actionable people insights to drive performance results

  • Prepare workforce planning projections and predictive models addressing quantitative sourcing needs and skill gaps through partnership with the HR team, Finance team and directly with the business on their requirements and opportunities

  • Research, compile and interpret analysis on trending skills and capabilities

  • Identify key talent and retention strategies

  • Analyze engagement drivers and the employee value proposition by leveraging management feedback, exit and pulse surveys

  • Evaluate HR specific programs and develop outcome analyses, including benefits, compensation, training, recruiting and diversity design outcomes

  • Identify process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team

  • Enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years' experience with supporting or developing workforce strategy through analytics

  • Practical experience drawing conclusions from quantitative and qualitative analysis, to develop business solutions

  • Ability to communicate complex subject material to executive audiences in a clear and actionable manner

  • Demonstrated experience in querying data in SQL and utilizing an enterprise size database

  • Demonstrated experience in data modeling methodologies (star schema, snowflake schema)

  • Advanced Excel, Power Point skills and previous work with HRMS systems (Success Factors)

  • Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques, and complex data analyses a plus (data mining, regression analysis, decision trees, and time series forecasting)

  • Highly effective project management skills with an ability to work on and lead multiple projects simultaneously

  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills, possessing the ability to interface with audiences of all levels throughout the organization
