Oracle Solution Specialist IV in Reston, Virginia
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

Field Engagement Manager (specific title):
1 1-3years cloud experience, in addition or coupled with Sales or Consultancy experience
Presence(modern, sophisticated, cool)
The ideal candidate possesses cloud experience either insales, consulting, alliances or customer support. This background allows thecandidate to in general understand why and how companies want to move to thecloud, motivating factors, dependencies and in turn relate directly to NAAfield. It is critical that candidates be engaging, well spoken, magnetic andretain program mgmt. and execution skills, as well as extremely solidrelationship management skills. Additionally, field engagement managers must beexecution oriented, upbeat and committed to the success of the fieldorganizations they will support. A high energy, self-starter with serviceoriented disposition is most desirable.
With the qualities outlined in the profile above, theexpectations are:
Field engagement managers will be mapped topillars by industry and/or geography
They will be mapped to A&C counterparts
They will build, nurture and maintainrelationships from top to bottom in the field organizations they support via:
o Organic interaction
o Conference meetings
o Regional meetings
o Pillar/region specific training programs
As relationship mgmt. is established, thiscandidate profile is responsible for on-going, consistent, accuratecommunication, evangelism within assigned NAA team leveraging creativity to doso.
There should be NO NAA team unaware of what OCStransformation is under way, our focus, differentiators, wins and willingnessand desire to be at the table with the field.
They will work with the field to prioritize andorganize demand generation opportunities specific to that region or industryand relevant to OCS.
They will execute on NAA BD Pillar specificprograms targeted at pipeline creation, progression and ARR conversion.
They will pass all viable opps to the pursuitteams within OCS.
