KPMG is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer, to join our Government Audit organization.


  • Serve as primary interface on specific facility and personnel security problems, incidents, and concerns

  • Document reviews for compliance with Government requirements and classified information, prepare, obtain approval and execute security policies, procedures and plans

  • Interface directly with program management to address security items specific to each program or contract and present security program as a business enabler

  • Prepare security volumes and DD254s, and provide security oversight to business development and proposal development

  • Maintain knowledge of the Department of Defense (DOD) NISP Operating Manual and Defense Security Service (DSS) procedures and guidelines

  • Collaborate with corporate security personnel for security metrics reporting and keep executive level leadership well informed of issues impacting specific contracts or the corporate enterprise


  • Minimum of five years of a contractor security organization supporting classified contracts experience, preferably in a professional services environment

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification

  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and all its requirements

  • Familiarity with JPAS, eQIP, SWFT, eFCL, and ISFD with deep understanding of FOCI requirements for cleared contractors

  • Active top secret security clearance
